Sian Doughty
(Physiotherapist)
Sian qualified as a physiotherapist in 2006 and has been a member of the Wrexham Physio Clinic team since 2011. She currently works evenings in clinic while the rest of her week is spent as an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist within the NHS. This role demands advanced diagnostic and management skills, allowing her to provide comprehensive care to her patients.
She has a Masters degree in Advanced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, addressing a wide range of issues including lower limb, upper limb, and spinal problems. Sian’s skill set also includes acupuncture, cortico-steroid injection therapy, and she is a qualified non-medical prescriber. These additional qualifications enable her to offer a holistic approach to treatment, tailored to each individual’s needs.
Outside of work, Sian enjoys spending quality time with her family and stays active with gym workouts. She has also participated in half marathons in the past, which helps her understand the physical demands and challenges faced by her patients.
Sian is also passionate about helping her patients achieve their health and wellness goals through personalised and effective physiotherapy treatments.
