Sarah Guinan
(Physiotherapist)
Sarah qualified as a Physiotherapist in 1988 from Coventry University and has enjoyed a long and fulfilling career spanning over three decades. During this time, she worked across a number of NHS hospitals in the UK, including Nottingham, Lancaster and Chester, as well as gaining valuable experience in Brisbane and Canberra, Australia.
Throughout her career, Sarah developed extensive expertise in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, working across outpatient clinics, orthopaedics, A&E and GP settings. She spent several years as a Senior Physiotherapist at the Countess of Chester Hospital, where she also supported and mentored junior staff and physiotherapy students from Liverpool University. Since 2003, she has been a valued member of private practice, helping countless patients manage and recover from a wide range of conditions.
Sarah has a particular interest in spinal and peripheral musculoskeletal disorders, using a combination of hands-on treatment, tailored exercise programmes and, where appropriate, acupuncture to support her patients.
Sarah has now taken early retirement and we’re delighted that she is now able to focus on enjoying life outside of the clinic.
Sarah is looking forward to spending more time with her family, travelling, and continuing to enjoy her active lifestyle. A keen runner for many years, she has completed both half and full marathons and now runs for enjoyment and fitness. She has also competed in triathlons and continues to cycle regularly with her husband, as well as enjoying hill walking with friends.
Sarah has been a hugely valued member of our team, and we are incredibly grateful for her dedication, expertise and the care she has given to so many patients over the years. We wish her all the very best in this next chapter.
