Sarah Parker

(Physiotherapist)

Sarah graduated from Northumbria University with a BSC in Physiotherapy in 2005.

Sarah has worked for Wrexham Physiotherapy Clinic since 2006 and over the years has treated clients with a diverse range of conditions and injuries.  Throughout her career Sarah has worked in private practice, GP practices and within numerous companies providing Occupational Health physiotherapy.  Sarah is a member of the ‘Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Occupational Health’.

Over the years Sarah has treated clients from numerous sporting backgrounds, being privileged to provide physiotherapy to a team prior to the 2012 Olympics was a highlight and also to international tennis tournaments and local football teams.

Sarah is a compassionate Physiotherapist who understands the need for a thorough, well researched patient assessment and treatment plan.  Sarah’s areas of expertise focus on a range of musculoskeletal (MSK injuries).  She can use a wide selection of treatment techniques including (but certainly not limited to) hands on treatment, exercise and movement rehabilitation, shockwave therapy and condition education.  Sarah is keen to empower clients on their injuries/conditions to help improve their quality of life and build a good physio-client alliance, and will happily enjoy a natter and laughter along the way.

Outside of work Sarah loves to spend time with her daughter who certainly keeps her on her toes.  Sarah has enjoyed participating in various activities over the years, most recently she took up netball again with a ‘back to netball’ team which she has thoroughly enjoyed. Sarah loves to travel and spend time with family and friends, and will always appreciate a good book recommendation; especially thrillers.
